For those who may find or perceive applying for residency daunting the process can be made easier by using an agent to help you

Now that the UK has fully left the EU, automatic freedom of movement no longer applies and the UK is regarded as a 'third country' in terms of citizens' rights. As a result, if you do not have legal residence yet, UK nationals are now restricted to 90 days in Cyprus in any rolling 180-day period.

If you want to spend more than 90 days in Cyprus, whether to live here permanently or enjoy more time in your holiday home, you will need to apply in advance for one of Cyprus' residence permits and satisfy specific requirements.

A local highly respectable company has launched a new service to make the process easier for UK nationals planning to retire in the EU post Brexit – their European Emigration Advisory Service can help you understand the residency requirements in Cyprus (as well as France, Spain, Portugal and Malta) and advise on which residence permit is suitable for you and how to apply.
Their  new series of residence and visa guides includes three for Cyprus. They are aimed at non-working or retired UK citizens and are available to download for free from their website
