Hi All,

I'm Jasmin, I'm a Filipino who currently residing and working in Thailand. I am looking for job opportunities available in Finland and I am hoping someone can help or recommend what's the first step I should do. I have been to Finland once last winter for vacation and I fell in love with the country ever since. Now, I am planning to move to Finland but in order to do that, I have to secure everything beforehand, starting with getting a job.聽

I am a well-experienced Data Analyst with 3 yrs experience in Accenture, 2 yrs experience as Customer support and currently working as IT support for a software company.

I am a highly motivated, adaptable, and cheerful individual who enjoys working both on my own initiative and preferably in a team. I鈥檓 passionate to widen my knowledge, adopt new skills, and willing to work in various roles as required.

Your suggestion and recommendation are highly appreciated.

The first step will be to find out if you qualify for a visas and if so what type of visa.聽 For information go to "Discover" at the top of this page and open the Helsinki Guide.

I would suggest an online job search but the Covid-19 crisis will make job hunting difficult but not impossible.

Hi Tanja,

Thank you so much for the information, I think the only option for me to get in there is to get a job and a company that is willing to provide me a working visa. I know it sounds impossible due to COVID but I will not lose hope.聽 I need to research more tho, thanks for the links, really helpful.

Yeah I know it's gonna be difficult but I'm really eager to do this, I hope something good will come up one day. And yeah for the visa I think the only option for me now is to get a working visa. I don't know anyone in Finland so it is just all by myself. "Not impossible" thanks stumpy for motivating me.
