Late Carte de Séjour

æ±¹¾±²Ô³Ùý°ù¾±

Hi everyone.

Since November 2019 I am still waiting for my carte de séjour.
Since that date (a year went by where nothing was done, due to Brexit discussions, most probably) I had a hold up because I changed address, and at the end of April I finally went to the préfecture to have my fingerprints taken. They said it would take "roughly" 4 weeks. Next week it will have been 12 weeks. They don't respond to my emails and I can't just walk into the préfecture.
Is this delay normal, or is there something that can be done to find out the progress?

many thanks

Roughly 13,000 Brits had not applied for the Carte de Séjour by the dateline in June, so they extended the date for a few months. My guess is that due to a high volume there are going to be delayed.

Thanks for getting back.

Completely understand this, but the thing is, I started the application back in Nov 2019.

I applied online in December 2020, before the Brexit deadline and received my acknowledgement early January.  I've heard nothing since.  I'm a new applicant having moved to France in December 2020 and never had a CdS before, so I'm really hoping to hear from the Prefecture soon!
