As far as I know, a JSV must be applied in your country before coming to Germany.
But you can search for a job on any other visa. If you find a job, you must apply for a work visa, which depending on where you're from can be applied for in Germany after arrival or requires a trip back home.

I had one more question, I would be grateful if you can answer that.
I wanted to know if I go to embassy to apply for a JSV, I had to prove my finance affordability(6000 euro), or I have to prove that when my visa is ready and I'm going to get my visa from embassy?

I am not sure. Ask the embassy!

Hi Beppi,

I was told that if I enter germany with a tourist visa, i am not allowed to look for work and i will be banned in germany and other schengen countries. I was told that i should be on a jobseekers visa. I am currently employed and i cant afford to resign without a job offer from Germany since Im the breadwinner of my family. However, im planning to visit germany for a month for a vacation  and will try my luck to look for a job. I just wanna make sure that it is okay to do this while on tourist visa?

Who told you that?
I have never heard of this and I don't believe it is true - job seekers who are invited for interviews in Germany usually come on a tourist visa, there is no other type of visa for this!

A fellow Filipino told me that. That is why I got confused and a bit scared that my visa might go to waste. Thanks for the response! Fingers crossed I get hired when I get there.
