Living in Hungary - need help with a game on migration

julianne4hu

Hi everyone!

My name is Julie, I live in Hungary.
I found this forum while I was surfing on the net and trying to find a forum about migration. I became quite excited to find you because I hope you may help me :)

I live and study in Hungary (IÂ’m Hungarian so please forgive me if I make some mistake in English ;)).

Why I write to you is that me and two of my friends from university take part in a competition on migration.

One of the tasks is to get to know more a foreigner (at least one person) who has been living in Hungary for more than 3 months, and he/she cannot be EU citizen so must have come outside the EU (and Izland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland) and itÂ’s important that he/she doesnÂ’t have Hungarian citizenship.

So we'd decided to do interviews with foreigners, and I got this task to accomplish. I studied migration for about year at university but this time IÂ’m curious about how foreigners really think about Hungary and how they feel themselves here.

If someoneÂ’s interested or knows someone who can be interested in this challenge I would be really happy to know him/her better and tell more about myself and the interview questions, so donÂ’t hesitate to contact me :)
Of course I cannot expect to tell me about your life without knowing me at all, so you can ask me too.

Thanks for reading this topic and I hope you can help me! :)

The web site is in Hungarian and not in other languages so a bit difficult for non-Hungarian speakers to understand the purpose of it all. Whoever is the author of the game, and especially if they want the participation of foreigners, should at least put it up in a number of different languages. Otherwise, it's a bit useless.

Hi!
Sorry if I was misunderstandable, the game is not for foreigners, it's for students (teams), but one of the task is to take an interview with a foreigner. So this is how a foreigner could help my team :)

The link is in Hungarian, unfortunately I haven't found English version. But I'm trying to write down the point of the link:
The director is University of Pécs and IDReaserch Company, the competition is for Hungarian universities' students about migration, integration across the EU.
The aim is to get to know more other cultures, migration trends, the EU and other countries habits, political and migration, integration issues.

I hope now it's clear and I'm happy to answer any kind of question :)

I understood that this is an exercise. I just thought that anyone being interviewed might be interested in the background and what it was all about. Shame it's not in English, French, German etc as well. Good luck anyway!

All I can do is to forward requests, but I participate the competition not directing it,
anyway I agree but it's off my beat...
