We own a house on the Abruzzo/Lazio border near Carsoli and have found the property has been infested by wasps, or at least one room has. We are experiencing problems trying to find someone or some company who will deal with the problem. We don鈥檛 live there all the time and visit from England for a week every 6-8 weeks. Next due back over New Year. Also our Italian is 鈥減igeon 鈥� at best and difficult to communicate by phone.

Anyone able to suggest a Firm or two who might be able to help?

There dont seem to be many specialisted companies in your area - its likely you will have to get someone out from Rome.聽 Search for disinfestazione vespe on google and there are lots of Rome companies who may or may not be bothered to come out and sort out your problem.聽聽They shouldnt be too busy in January!

@Metwalli Yassein聽 Please do not ever suggest using animals to clear wasps, bees or hornets they could be stung to death.!!

Go to the ferramenta and buy an insecticide designed to kill wasps/hornets in a canister that will spray up to 3 meters or more and approach the room on a cold day when the insects will be sluggish and susceptible to the treatment. It maybe possible to buy an insect ''bomb'' to kill them but be respectful of the instructions as inhaling these products can be harmful to humans too.
