I have a few questions;

I am non EU citizen!I plan to buy a home in Italy and my intention is to pay for it outright. Will owning property in Italy give me any rights to permanent residence (Permesso di Soggirno) ? I heard that for permanent residence in Italy need buy home worth above the 150000 euro. Is that true ?聽

I doubt this is true. Only for election visa you are required to have minimum half a million euro in you bank account plus other conditions. If only need to invest 150,000 euro in an property to have permanent residence in Italy I bet houses there would be sold out by now better you check with some immigrant legal firms to have accurate info regards to PR.

What is the worth limitation for properties(houses, apartments etc.) in Italy to get permanent residency in future ?
