Planning to buy home in Italy and waiting for Permesso di Soggiorno

eabdulkerimov

I have a few questions;

I am non EU citizen!I plan to buy a home in Italy and my intention is to pay for it outright. Will owning property in Italy give me any rights to permanent residence (Permesso di Soggirno) ? I heard that for permanent residence in Italy need buy home worth above the 150000 euro. Is that true ?

Thanks, all.

I doubt this is true. Only for election visa you are required to have minimum half a million euro in you bank account plus other conditions. If only need to invest 150,000 euro in an property to have permanent residence in Italy I bet houses there would be sold out by now :) better you check with some immigrant legal firms to have accurate info regards to PR.
