Pembroke is a very nice place to live, however, like the advice given on other threads you really need to come out here for some time to investigate 'all' areas that would suit your particular needs.

The subject of cost of living is very subjective and is dependent on many factors......area for rent, social habits, driving or not, food, and many many more.  There are quite a few threads on cost of living in general here and

many of them can be found here.......
