Hi Bev N Jim - welcome to the group.

There are quite a few previous threads here talking about schools - please look through those and see if they answer your questions and then if you have some follow-ups feel free to post them.

Generally though you have the choice of fee-paying Private (Independent)schools where you are guaranteed your kids will be taught in English, or the free State schools, where your kids *may* be taught in English (this seems to vary based on the school and location and number of other "foreign" pupils). There are also Chruch schools - but I don't know much about those.
