Would being an autistic woman prevent me from moving to Norway?

porcelainqueen

Per the post tile, it can be assumed that I'm a mildly autistic woman and I'm high functioning.  Is it possible that my condition may prevent me from moving to Norway in the future? I know it may prevent me from moving to NZ and the like.

why does it prevent you from moving to NZ? If you're moving with the intention to exclusively take advantage of social support, it may be problematic (there have been news articles about immigrants having trouble getting support lately)

but also, if you're looking at places like Singapore and NZ, do you really want to move to Norway? Climatewise these are VERY different places

@porcelainqueen well no? what is you're purpose for coming ? work, study etc?

the only reasons they can deny you're entry is if you have a Criminal record/ overstayed youre welcome in a Schengen country or migrate here without a proper visa

@ECS

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't receive any notifications of your response.

I've read some articles from families not able to move to NZ due to having children on the spectrum to costs despite having in-demand skills (IT, I believe).

Since I'm still planning/hoping to relocate, I'm considering a few places.

@Asgeir

I was thinking about moving to Norway to work and integrate into Norwegian society!

As long as you can get a job, being autistic or not is not relevant to the process. Not sure about NZ, that seems unusual.
