Electric per month ? (Had on person tell me 5000 nok, surely thats per quarter???)
Car running costs for typical mid sized, taxes, insurance fees etc
Renting a house (furnished) whats typically included tv, tv license, internet?
Typical groceries for family of 4?
Wheres the best supermarket to shop?

Anything else major items.

I'll give you a run up of our costs (Aside from the car as hubbys taken over that job!)

Electric (3 bedroom house) - per mont during summer 1100kr / during winter - 2000kr

Renting (unfurnished in our case) - 8000kr nothing included for us personally but I know TV and int is a common thing to have included.

Groceries - Depends, if you like fast food you'll burn 5000kr a month EASY probably closer to 7000kr but if you'll cook things up yourself and use basic ingredients IE. flour etc instead of buying premade stuff then it'll be around 4000-5000kr if you are careful.

Remi is the cheapest big one near us - They also do menus say for a meal for 4 under 80kr that sort of thing, but look out for offers in the paper. Menu and Co-op can be expensive but they tend to have good offers if you look around for them and also have more stock (at least the ones near us do.)

Umm think that was everything,

Hello,

Many of these questions were already answered if you search the forum. The elctricity varies a lot, depending on whether you have elctrical heating, how well isolated is your house or appartment, it can range from 2000 to 25-30 000 a year.

Car is also complicated, also depending if you need to pay some toll roads to go to work, but around 8 000 a month is a good estimate

A house is also very variable, around oslo it can cost around 20 000

groceries, if you eat norwegian good and don't drink much, around 10 000 and shopping place, really depend of what you like, you have some cheaper supermarkets like kiwi/rema and some more uper scale like meny / centra
