Help? :)

I am an English girl, currently living in Norway with my Norwegian boyfriend of 9 months. I'm currently here as a jobseeker (financially supported by partner), which means I can stay for 6 months, but I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way I could apply for a residence permit because I have a Norwegian partner supporting me, or do I have to stay as a jobseeker? Also, does anyone know anything about what happens if I still have no job after the 6 months is over? I know I have to leave Norway, but is there a certain amount of time I have to leave for before I can apply again? And do I have to return to the UK when I need to leave, or can I visit another country? Thanks!

from what i heard, you must be merried to get permit. if you dont find work in the 6 month you must go back to UK or any otther country you wish, there was some time befor you can come back but i dont remmber how much it was

Thanks for that! When I went to the police station, the woman's words were something like, "If after 6 months you still don't have a job, you have to leave Norway, but it doesn't have to be for a long time." So that has left me wondering a lot! Crazily enough, I actually ended up getting engaged this evening! So the marriage thing isn't really sounding so crazy anymore lol xD
