Contract Problem for Portugal D8 VISA

unskilledboy

Hey, I'm new to this community!

I'm having hard time dealing with this situation. I'm an affiliate marketer and make money from affiliate commissions and being a publisher for Mediavine and several private companies in different niches.

When signing up for these companies, typically it's not fixed income (salary type), it's mainly fixed commission / % based commission. There's no contract specifically made that demonstrates the terms and conditions for this, rather than Terms and Conditioners that needs to be accepted by default on almost all the platforms.

I'm from Pakistan and I'm seeing embassy refusing individuals with self-employed profile. I'm not sure what would be best way to deal with such situations. For example, if I could contract from private companies, I'm not sure I'd be able to get it from Media and Amazon seems nearly impossible, So, considering my case, what would be the best possible approach.

Incomes are great and way more than required numbers, I'm reluctant to apply without a contract or a better solution of my case.

Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks for making such a helpful community.

@unskilledboy, Hi.

For D8 you will need:

- If self-employed: proof of company contract or service contract or written proposal of service contract or document demonstrating the services provided to one or more entities.

@JohnnyPT thanks, I've already checked your post on this. My question is specifically related to contracts, when being an affiliate marketer.

Why don't you get a document demonstrating the services provided to one or more entities, a proof of bank transfers made by them, any proof that establishes a working relationship that continues over time? Otherwise, it will be difficult, indeed...

Hi and Welcome,

Try looking at it from Portugal Administration point of view - there's a D8 visa which they need to have criteria for people to comply with in order to grant the visa.  They are not in the position to spend time investigating possibilities of an applicant -      as  @johnnyPT  writes above    If self-employed: proof of company contract or service contract or written proposal of service contract or document demonstrating the services provided to one or more entities.  You may argue you have someting better/similar/superior to these but this is not a point for discussion - they require you to have this/these or you do not comply with this criteria for a D8 visa.

@JohnnyPT there are hundreds of invoices to show but problem is that they are more inclined towards a work contract which is hard to get considering if we get incomes from Amazon Associates. You can understand that.
