About leaving Portugal (EU) alone with minor children

sandraawilliams153

My wife and my daughter are planning an international trip and I am not going with them.

I have been told that in such a situation I would need to sign a declaration stating that I am agreeing to this, as the Portuguese customs will need to check this document when they leave.

I would like to know if there is indeed such a requirement? Is it just a signed statement or do I have to get it notarized?

Thank you!
