I have a galaxy S10 contracted with Verizon, Stateside. I will move to Budens, Portugal mid-August (already purchased a house). Can I use my current cell phone in Portugal? Will I need to purchase a new phone with a different provider plan? what are my options?

You will need to cancel your contract in America before arriving, you will also make sure the cell phone is unlocked. You will be able to do the latter in the USA or Portugal and then get a SIM card in Portugal.
