Flying with dog in cabin from Brussels Air to Faro

Hi there, has anyone flown with their dog in cabin from Brussels airport /airline to Faro?


I’ll be travelling from UK with my 7kg dog via euro tunnel to Calais then onto Belgium airport.


she has a European passport as do I.


any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you

Hi Jacquie, the best, and safest, will be to check with the company you are supposed to flight with, as they all have their own rules.


Some not accepting any dog or cat (easyjet between other I think)


Some only accepting those weighting less than x kilos.


But I think 7 kilos is already high for a pet to be accepted as cabin luggage.

it’s the experience of Brussels airlines I’m really after.


I’ve done my research and checked the baggage size and Brussels airlines have a 55 x 40 x 23 with 8 kg including soft bag.


im just wanting anyone with experience of doing this as I’ve never flown with her.



im a bit worried I’ll get there and I’ve not ticked a box.
