Moving to SP in January

Hi

I'm moving to St Petersburg in early January. I've visited three times previously, and have lived in Russia for four years previously too. So I know a fair bit of what to expect.

So, just wondering if any locals have any practical advice or inside knowledge that would be helpful to this Englishman. I know all about the weather, the language etc - but not the inner workings of SP life.

Yes, I am from Newcastle and, yes, I am now here. Arrived on Saturday, started work today. So far so good!
