Hello David,

My partner, David, and I will be happy to meet you when you come to Oviedo.  I can't recommend a rental agent  that speaks English.  We worked with a local Agent who brought her translators.  I can ask her if her translators are available during the school year.

I will be in Oviedo staring in July 12th for 10 months.  I've owned an apartment there for the last 10 years.  I love Oviedo and would like to show you around once I arrive.  We also have an apartment at the beach in Luanco.  It's a fantastic little beach town and worth checking out as it's only 30 minutes away.  I hope you don't mind the rain :-) in Oviedo.  If you have any questions about the city feel free to ask.  I don't have an answer for you on the Real Estate Agent.  I know they are there as I see their signs in the window advertising English speaking agents.

I'm Phil and will be visiting Oviedo on a scouting trip June 17-21 with the intent to purchase property there later this year. we are in a similar position  looking for a property to buy but will be renting for at least 6 months in order to see where and what we want to buy.

we have used a Spanish lady agent who has been exceptional and brings with her a colleague who translates. We plan to use this agent for our property search over the next few months.

we can exchange information on this when we have a chance to meet up in June. We will be coming back to Oviedo around the time you will be here and can arrange to meet up then.

It's Phil again. I'll be flying to Spain tomorrow, June 15, and arriving in Oviedo late in the day on the 16th. I have set up an appointment with an English-speaking real estate agent in Oviedo for Wednesday, the 18th for general discussions on buying property in Oviedo.
