Can I switch from Visit Visa to Work Visa ?

Hey everyone,

My name is Abdennor from Morocco, 23 years old, currently living in Dubai and I decided to come over here on 1st December.

I'm planning to move to Stockholm on 1st December for 1 month to 3 months or maybe even more so.

looking for a room as well in sharing flat or something like that! Can you mention the average price ? would be like in Stockholm please.

As the title says Can I switch from Visit Visa to Work Visa? Is it possible? Is the exit from visitor and return as a worker possible (in case got a job and the company do the paper work..)? the exit needed? what other options I have to if impossible to get a job by Visit Visa?

Please help me out with this one.

What you are asking is quite common in Dubai and unfortunately it doesn't work like this in Sweden. You have to be granted work or resident visa before entering on that permit. Only in exceptional cases or certain occupations this is possible.

Also its not easy to get job on visitor visa but you can try.

If it works its works, I don't agree with them completely. It depends on occupations. Some occupations have skill shortage and expats get hired. This is true for any country not only Sweden. That cannot be generalized for all occupations.
