EPFL Master in Communication Systems

Hi everyone,

I'm new in this Forum. I'm a moroccan Engineer and I worked as a project Manager for Three years. I applied for a Master degree in EPFL and I was accepted, I got also a scholarship for this program.
I know that EPFL is a very good school, but the thing is, i'm not very sure anymore that this master will give me a push in my career.
Can anyone please give me information about the reputation the school? will it be easy for me to find a job in Switzerland after the graduation? is it easy to have a work Permit?

Hi Safaaa,

Work in Switzerland:

The Engineer master is specific job which give you an opportunity to work perhaps in Switzerland. but it's not sure. A company have to control first that nobody which live in Switzerland can make the offered Job.

in some case, they can offer you a job for a determinate time if you are a leader or a specialist for a specific project.

For the quality of the EPFL and the futur opportunities:

EPFL have a Student information office. Take contact with them and speak open. I'm sure you will receive enough informations to take your decision.

I'm sorry to tell you that :

The master is only a document at the end of your study. You know something with specific knowledge.

But the most important is: what do you do with this knowledge? Your capacity to realize a project or an invention, is the most important. It is your acts which will make the difference.
