As mentioned, it has been covered many times.


But simply, paper CPR is for people who have Saudi Iqamas and want to live in Bahrain.  It is useless for any other purpose e.g. opening bank accounts etc.  And you are NOT considered a resident of Bahrain with paper CPR - you still need a renewable 6 month visa.  On top, if your Saudi Iqama is cancelled, you cannot renew said visa.

I have municipality, rental contract, valid Saudi iqama, multiple entry visa.


I understand there is an ID service centre at Seef Mall Muharraq. Do you know if I can go there and apply?
