Working in Dubai with Bahrain residency

UKconultant1

Hi, if I have a single person company in Bahrain, and residency, that allows me to contract in Bahrain, in case my client has a branch in Dubai, can I come and work in Dubai based on my Bahrain residency, and get paid into my Bahrain company?

Or do I need another company to be opened in Dubai, and a residence visa for Dubai? Since I am contracting I cannot get a work permit

Thanks

If you are visiting your client for short term projects and to provide technical support, you can do that on a business visa for UAE.  If you are working in full time employment, you would need a residence visa for UAE.   Your Bahrain residency is absolutely irrelevant for anything except for being able to get paid - as bank account in Bahrain requires residency.

Thanks. So what qualifies as short term project, is there a minimum duration stay, and is there a frequency?
