Indemnity Computation

nepenthe0403

Hi, I'm a newbie here.

Hoping you can help me. I just have a question. If I didn't finish 1 year of service and I changed my sponsor will I get an indemnity? I worked for 10 months only. Also, during the time that I was on unpaid leave will it affect the calculation of indemnity? I was searching online about it but I can't seem to find a proper answer.

I am not sure whether this has been discussed before but thank you in advance.

I have covered this before. You are eligible for indemnity. Go and read the thread below.

@XTangÌý³§¾±°ù/²Ñ²¹»å²¹³¾,
our company is adding leave & indemnity on our monthly salary and paying us.
So, if i resign after serving for only one year. Do my company has right to deduct all the leave & indemnity which i received every month for 1 year?

They shouldn't be doing it this way.   Because the value of indemnity increases with the length of service.  And when you leave, they should pay you the difference vs. what they paid you monthly.
