Visas for Nigerians are stopped since long time.  Not sure if it has opened yet.

Nigeria can still come in, I have a Nigerian working in Bahrain, and I've been give work visa as well, about to get into Bahrain soon...I don't think visa for Nigerians has been stopped, cus if it has...my friend and I won't get our work visa...keep trying bro

It was stopped from 2016-2020. It may have opened recently.  And it was stopped for new visas.  Nigerians already here could renew their visas.

@ahammedsodiq2017 hello bro. What’s up are you a Nigerian. Can we share contacts please. What r the nature of jobs

@XTang it means you are not current. Visit visa has been going

- @olaoyepaul64
That's exactly what I meant.  I stopped following this post Covid.

olaoyepaul64
Ok. But are you at Bahrain currently and can someone come on a visit and get to work in Bahrain
XTang
Forgetting the Nigerian element, visit visas can be converted to work visas provided application for conversion is made at least a week before expiry.  You cannot work on a visit visa and must convert it to work visa before.   If you get caught working on a visit visa, it leads to deportation and blacklist.
olaoyepaul64
Ok. But are you currently living at Bahrain
XTang
Yes.  Why is that relevant?
olaoyepaul64
Not sir. Sorry about that. The most important thing is we getting the right assistance to work over there
XTang
You are posting on a public forum.  This is not official communication but rather, people sharing their personal experiences and opinions.  If the "right" assistance for you is official then you are better off contacting LMRA or NPRA or a government relations agent directly.
