Well, I am renting but such bills are not included in it (because you know rent is fixed while your consumption of other services is not). Plus there is another fee on the side called (Guard of the building services) - not included in rent. & this amount of money you pay for him is for cleaning the building & to deliver water & electricity bills when it's payable -_- ......., so, in future, IF you needed some help with anything like moving something from place to another or carry things with you to your apartment you should tip him, because if you didn't next time you call him he will say (I'm busy, sorry Sir)

Paying bills is not that hard thing to do, there are almost 3 options to do it:
As for water & electricity bills, you can pay it in 3 ways:
1) in company building by your self
2) in Jordanian post office by your self

* 1 & 2 you need to go there in person

3) As for the 3ed option, you can simply link your bank account number with the serial number of your subscription (Iron number on the counter). As for me I have chosen option number 3 with 0% fee by the bank (Arab Bank)
*Note other banks MAY OR MAY NOT deduct other fees for doing this kind of service.

For paying Internet subscription, options 1 & 3 applied.

I deposited my salary through bank deposit via my bank. When a bill needed to be paid, I could pay the company through my debit card. For my bills back home, set it up before you leave Home. You can transfer money at an exchange and send it via your IBAN #. The.ln to ay bills via online banking.  I did have to call my Home Country when you things got mixed up , which happened when my bank was doing on-line maintenance. I also set up a family member as my power of attorney, which was necessary to act in my name. However, be very careful doing this, as the person has the power to clean out your accounts and sell your property. During my 4 years overseas, in Abu Dhabi and in Amman, I had few problems. Do be aware of time difference and set up automatic payments, when possible, however if you don’t have a large cushion in your account, you can overdraft, which is very costly
