Dear All

what is the average and maximum time you would need to process work permit , work visa or NOC .
i must admit that i do not understand the system ; in other GCC countries you will get the work permit in 2-3 days ( in UAE ) or up to 3 weeks in other countries , i have been waiting for longer than this and still nothing ; not accepted , not rejected , not processed .

is this normal , or my possible employer is playing me ?

Welcome to Kuwait. If your employer has good connections, it can be as little as two months. In reality, it can be a year or more. Mine took 10 months to complete.
As with everything else in Kuwait, arm yourself with a lot of patience.

if thats the case then how can anyone plan for their move ; thanks God i didnt resign from my current job .
is there anyone who got it like in 2 weeks or so ; is it have to do with the nationality of the applicant of the employer local connection and reputation .

any info is highly appreciated
