Buying or Renting a car in Oman

Guys,
Im about to move in Oman. I would like to ask, which is more advisable Buying a Car or Renting a Car in Oman? If buying a car how much is the normal price like Toyota yaris or Honda Jazz/Fit? If Renting a car, how much is the normal cost per month? Hope you can enlighten me.

First of all you have to ask yourself questions:
How long are you planning to stay?
Do I need to buy new car or used? etc.....

Rent A Car companies: AL Maha, EuroCar, Marks 160 monthly Maximum....for car not 4WD
