4 month short work visa in oman

Dear all
Can you please inform me about:
My sponsor send me visa copy and visa deposit recipes do I need to collect original visa by showing visa deposit recipes in deposit counter before immigration when i will reach to airport or can direct going to immigration and pass the formalities and exit the airport.
Really need to know and your advices

Hi alvliro,

What you are saying is how things used to be done earlier. But not anymore.

Upon your arrival, head to the visa counter and show your deposit receipt and the copy of your visa.

All needed formalities would be done there itself and the passport would be handed back to you.

Since the new airport has become operational in the last couple of days, I am not sure how things operate now.
