Do I need to Exit for applying Employment visa - Currently on visit

Dear Friends,

Can anyone reply me urgently. Am on visit visa now and I got my visa clearance for new employment . All typing has been done. Before submiting for visa do I need to exit oman ? Or is it possible to get the visa issued without exit Oman ?

You would have to exit Oman before returning on your new employment visa.

But if you have an NoC from your former employer you can do a visa transfer from your former sponsor to the new one.

However please be informed that Immigration rules keep changing almost unfailingly on a weekly basis. So better get the latest update confirmed by your company PRO or from the Directorate General of Immigration and Civil Status.

No.

NoC is applicable only for salaried employees planning on shifting jobs within the Sultanate.
