Travel agency in Muscat

Jude2010

Good Day to all

I am planning to open a travel agency in Muscat.

Appreciate if some one can give me ideas for the below concerns

1. Avergare salary of a Travel consultant with minimum 3 yrs experiance with an IATA travel agency

2. Is it advicable to provide accomodation to the staff or include the allowance in the salary?

3. Average rental for a 2 bedromm apartment.

Hope some one can help me on this

Thank You all

interesting! however, i would strongly reccommend you to check the competition in oman for such market. i would say its highly competitive.
regarding your first concerns, i would have no idea, sorry. but i can ask for you, if you want.
second, it is more advisable to include the allowance in the salary instead of providing accommodation, due to the high prices here in Muscat.
third, depending on the location in Muscat, but it varies from 100 up to 500 riyals.

hope that gave ya some help.

kindest regards

1. 800 Omani riyals.
2. i guess if the allowance is more than 180 omani riyals then take the allowance.
3. 120-200 omani riyals.
