There is no treatment for that, just pain reliever....I had it 15 years back and still has it, 3 days I had bedrest that time as I cant walk .....sleeping on a hard surface....

When I am working, i stand up as long sitting aggravate the pain

Every evening I go for a walk

I searched the web and ordered supplements to  reduce the inflammation of the sciatic nerve...

During long flights I am standing and walking on the aisle while all passengers are sleeping

Check on your diet and select the foods that will not induce the inflammation of the sciatic nerve

Change your lifestyle, move a lot but watch out not to harm the lower back

Watch out for your posture, have a straight spine all the time

I put pillow on my lower back while driving to support the lower spine

Check yoga poses

I was given by the doctor a set of exercises to lessen the pain, it worked just need self discipline

Some I knew who have the same situation had an injection and the pain is gone, most likely it is for the sciatic nerve.

This is not a pleasant journey but there are remedies....
