Hi.

Last month my company had asked me to submit medical certificate with fit to work remarks which could be done from any accredited government hospital so that they can proceed for work visa application. I did so and submitted the medical certificate with all medical test reports which were done from a government hospital. They processed my visa and it has been issued to me. Now I need to stamp it from Protectorate of Emigrants Office. When I visited them today they asked me to bring Medical Record issued by the QVC. I told them that my company has told me that they will proceed the final medical from QVC once after landing in Qatar but they refused to stamp my passport and without it I am not allowed to leave my country of residence. Visa Protector Stamp is necessary for anyone with a valid work visa of GCC. Now the second issue is, when I am trying to book appointment on QVC, when I put my passport and visa number, it gives an error and states "This visa cannot be accepted to process from outside Qatar." I have tried to explain this to the Protectorate of Emigrant office but they are not listening to me. Please advise what can be done and what should I do? On the other hand the company is asking me to confirm the travel date so that they can book the flight tickets.
