Soon to be expat in Qatar

Hi everybody I would just like to know the safety of female foreign workers working in Qatar. I am considering a job offer in Al-Wakrah as a nurse. By the way, I am a Filipino. Please if anybody has any information it would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hopefully this message does not get to you too late before you pass on the position in Qatar. I find that Qatar is one of the safest places that I have ever travelled to. I have worked in Russia, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Canada, and many other European locales and I find Qatar by far the safest, I can only imagine it as a second to Thule, Greenland..

Qatar is by far one of the safest countries to live in; been here for 2 years and never had an issue other than aggressive driving.

Hopefully my comment it is not too late, but may be help someone else.
