I resign from work

GNCM

Hi everyone. I really need help or advice. I have been working in this company for 9 years now. This is my 6th contract (We are renewing our contract yearly after the initial 2-year contract). Now I am resigning from my current contract due to some personal reasons. I have given my 3-month notice. The company is now telling me to pay for the remaining months of my contract equal to my monthly salary. Is this legal? So I will be left with almost nothing of my ESB because of this. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Once if you have completed 4 years (or renewed your contract for 3 times) your contract will be considered as an indefinite as per Saudi labor law article 55.

You can give notice period of 60 days and resign from your current role.

@expat_in_ksa7 Hi. I have raised this concern to the HR however they are telling me it's not applicable to non-saudis as per Article 37. What else I can do with this?
