TRAVEL BAN DUE TO UNPAID LOAN

Hamoodi05

Hello everyone,

I’m seeking advice on how to lift a travel ban for my wife so she can exit Saudi Arabia. She has an unpaid loan with Al Rajhi Bank, which is now under the Ministry of Justice (Najiz) and has triggered the ban. Her former employer (a government entity) supports her exit once the loan is settled, but she currently has no work. Just a brief background about her employment history. She was working before in MOH and was terminated last August 2018. When they tried to issue exit visa for her, it failed due to the unpaid loan from the bank. She has been unemployed since then due to expired iqama.

I can’t take a new loan or pay the full amount upfront due to financial constraints. I want to negotiate a monthly installment plan with Al Rajhi to settle the loan, but I’m unsure how to coordinate this with Najiz to lift the ban. Has anyone successfully done this? Specifically:

  1. How did you negotiate a payment plan with Al Rajhi for a loan under Najiz?

  1. What steps did you take in Najiz to lift a travel ban after starting installments?

  1. Any tips for dealing with Al Rajhi or the MOJ to expedite the process?

Any inputs and advices are appreciated.

Thanks,
