I also had a same fate one day in Khobar.. Next formalities are :

1) Get the person's ID or other details.. Because you can stay in touch with him as his insurance company will pay the damages..

2) go to traffic police station along with the NAJM document which they gave you or they might have directed which traffic station to go

3) Traffic police will give you a paper which will state that accident has been informed at the police station.. This document is a must for you to carry.. Cause if any other cop stops you and ask for the accident details, you've a document to show..

4) you need to get 3 quotes for the car repair.. all from different workshops

5)you need to submit the quotes to the insurance company of the person who hit your car, they will approve one of the quotes.. and give you the approval to repair to vehicle at the particular place..

6) you first pay the cost from your end and then claim the amount from the insurance company.

Here are comments on your post

1- Not needed. See point # 5
2- True but next day.
3- Ok
4- Not different workshops bro. Maroor has authorized a few workshops and you can't get quotations from anywhere else.
5- You are supposed to visit YOUR insurance company. Insurance companies work in collaboration with each other. Your insurance company will do all that for you.
6- You don't have to pay anything if the fault wasn't yours.
If you have a bad insurer, they'll delay the claim re-imbursement and you'll have to pay yourself at first.
