Looking for ex-pats near Buraydah

Hello, I am an American woman who just started working in Buraydah. I lived in Riyadh last year and loved it because there were so many things to do. I'd love to meet fellow ex-pats for activities and get togethers. I live on a compound so can invite people.
I'd also like to know what to do and see in Buraydah. So far, it seems pretty desolate.
