What is Fixed/Tayseer bill in Saudi electricity billing??

smuddin12_83

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the fixed/Tayseer billing option in Saudi Electricity App - AlKahraba.
Currently, I am getting bills around 450-485 SAR per month. But when opting to fixed billing it shows 148. What I wanted to know is, If I opt for fixed billing will I get only 148 regularly for any units of consumption. Or there are some hidden charges which I have to pay later.
Please clarify on this if anyone have details.

Also What is the difference between Tayseer and Fixed bill...??

As far as I know, you pay a fixed amount per month based on your average monthly consumption.

HOWEVER, at the end of the year, there will be a settlement with SEC and any over / above will be settled.

So all it really means it that while you can use fixed billing to regulate your monthly payments; be ready to pay the difference at the end of the year.

Also if I am not mistaken, Tayseer was the fixed billing version in 2018.
