Introduction + Questions

LegendaryKTC

Hello to you all!

I just relocated to Riyadh from the US, Richmond, VA, to be specific. So far, I actually like it here! It'd be a little easier if I learned more Arabic before coming here but everyone has been so nice. :D

Unfortunately, my introduction is kind of short-lived as I have a couple of questions. Does anyone know where I can cash in these traveler's cheques? I just can't seem to get rid of them!

My second question is does anyone have any teaching advice for a new ESL instructor? I'm kind of nervous about stepping into a classroom for the first time. I know it won't be spectacular but it'll help ease my mind.

I hope I get the chance to talk and potentially meet many of you! Take care!

Hello, as a 20 years old student myself, students usually like teachers who introduce themselves first of all, and who give an overall idea on how their teaching is going to be like, exams, etc. That's all I can help you with. Good luck, and welcome to Saudi. =)
