STC 4G Router Low reception and Speed

Dear Friends,

I recently moved to Dahban arean in Jeddah. Here the signal strength of STC, Zain & Mobily is very poor. I purchased STC 4g router (White one) The signal are showing full mostly but internet speed is less than 1 MB. Can anyone help me to find a long lasting and economical solution for this matter. I will be very grateful.

Fiber land line was the solution for me.

Fiber is definitely better than 4G. However if you don't have that option, you can try a newer 4G modem that supports 4G+ (LTE-A). It may provide better performance as it uses multiple channels. I recommend that you ask around and borrow it from someone that already owns it for a day or two and test it at your place before buying it. Latest generation of smartphones have this capability so you can also try it using one of these phones (iPhone 7 or newer etc.)
