Online purchasing through master card

Why am.I.not able go use my master card ( which is actually my salary account) for online purchases and app purchases from app store??
Each time I try I get a message that the payment method is not acceptable
Can anyone advice

Which bank card is it? Are you sure it can be used online. Some cards are just debit cards and you have to ask your bank to enable it to work online.

If you have online access you can check the status of your card and enable or disable online purchases through the bank portal itself.

Its Saudi hollandi bank....maybe I should visit the bank as you said

Most of the cards in saudi does not need an otp (one time password) or visa/master card password to make transaction online. So when the card is issued the online transaction facility is disabled, you just have to contact the guys of saudi hollandi, tell them to enable the facility.
