after being in turkey 2 years

I just complete my two years here and at the visa office on a marriage residence visa they now tell me you got another 3 years to complete not allowed to work believe me it's not all fun and games.
I came to this country with hope and exciting ideas but here nothing like what you see as a tourist I have problems on public transport with turkish people i have been robbed and another time a guy pulled a knife on me so its a scary place if you don't have like me family and much money or friends then this place is a living hell I know turkish but I don't talk much its not matter to turks if you try your best and talk turkish or if they know your none turk same treatment.
advice when going out don't carry much money or valued items don't talk on the bus as soon as i spoke english people change you can also be follow by men at after dark carry pepper gun its good protection I used to be a calm person but living in over crowd city stressed me too much.

The situation is quite similar to most of the big cosmopolitan cities like New york, London, Paris etc. One should find out which places are safe to hang-out.

this is the same thing that happens in London, NYC, Paris, Cairo, etc... it's the nature of the best called "capital city". it's unfortunate but it comes with the territory. You have to be ready for these things when you go to a large city anywhere. people are people no matter where you go.

Thanks people i am aware of the city life i travel for 15 years all over the place yeah its sad beauty and too much people in one area cause troubles around for others peace be with us all and safe trips to far and near
