Anadarko Company

scad1289

Hello everyone, I am coming because I received an email in October 2023 from a company located in Dubai called Anadarko asking me if I am interested in a technician position. I tell them yes, they ask me for my CV to fill out a questionnaire and send them my diplomas so far no problem. a week later I received a very attractive contract proposal, I called the number to be sure it was indeed a number from the Emirates. the company told me to go through an agency for residents that the costs will be reimbursed once there, the company initially asks me for $1450 which I pay. I fill out immigration documents etc.

a few days later, the lady from the agency called me back with a number from the emirates that the immigration policy had changed and that I had to pay travel health insurance costs of $2950. I told them that this is not mentioned anywhere. I start to do research on the company I realize that there are notices of possible scam on Google to be careful, the company is not at the address indicated etc.

Since then I have been asking for concrete answers from the agency and the Anadarko company. I will do everything to get my refund. Have you ever resorted to this type of practice?

@scad1289 Hi i have been working more than 30 years and I HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED ANYTHING LIKE THAT IN PAYING A SINGLE CENTAVO, all are shouldered by the hiring companies, i am crossing my fingers  that you have not been  victimized or maybe you were. Good luck in getting your hard earned money back -  legitimate companies dont charge hired candidates any money.
