Convert Bahrain driving license international from UAE

Hello I have been in Bahrain for the past 12 years, and my Bahraini driving license, which is over 10 years old, has now expired for about 9 or 10 months. I am currently residing in the UAE. & and my visa invalid or CPR also expired in bahrain. What is the process to convert my expired Bahraini license to an international license from UAE?

Expired license cannot be converted.

Secondly, in the UAE, there is no direct conversion of a GCC license to the UAE license (if you are an expat - they have this thing about nationality / license matching....see it on the RTA website).聽 You need to take a theory test and a road test - your current license only allows you to skip classes and do this fast.
