I recently got a job offer from DANAT RECRUITMENT in Abu Dhabi and wanted your opinions on if the contract is real or if it is a scam. They sent me a Contract Package and agency refferal.. What are the best ways to confirm the legitimacy of this contract?

The easiest way to spot if it's genuine or not is to see if they are asking you for any money.  If they ask for money then it is a scam.

what if they said to me i will be  the first only one to  pay for the expenses during processing of my documents, visa and working permit, then later it will refundable from them by showing/sending  all my official receipts to their email..?

No it's a scam.  No money is charged from the applicant at ANY time for the UAE or for any other country for that matter.

Total and utter scam.

An interesting thread.
I came here today with the same questions in my mind as well.
My good friend was offered a job as Logistics Officer with a great salary paclage. I was excited and at the same time worried about her safety and wellbeing.
Checked the website of the company and the recruiter but none existed. The name of the company appeared on a website as the name of an exibition on oil & gas! ( Arab Oil & Gas Company ).
In my mind, I was thinking...... if they are asking for money, it must be a scam....the same thing shared by XTang here. Thanks.

I wonder why people do this? Obviously to rob young professionals from poor country!
A total shame!

Excess demand and low supply leads to desperation.  It's as simple as that.  Once people are desperate then others can use that to manipulate them.   And in 3rd world countries; with the economic conditions and quality of life the way it is; people are desperate to get out - whether to better paying jobs or a to a better life / passport.  And there are scams in both areas.

I am not sure if anything can be done when you are outside the UAE.  I do recall a notice when I was living in the UAE from the MOL (I think) asking people to be aware of false recruitment agencies and to report them to the authorities.  Not sure what's the status now but if anyone is aware, they can post it here.
