UAE Medical fitness certificate status
@XTang Hi
I m living here in sharjah for the last 8 years (since 2015) .. I got a new job in dubai and my new visa was in process. I went for the medical to al nahda but results were Follow up in process.. and I was told to go to Muhaisnah medical center.. they did my blood test and it came with a letter mentioning aids ... I m so worried.. its showing Follow up with Muhaisnah medical center. What will happen next?
-@Muhammad Tahir43
What do you mean?
Are you HIV positive or not?
If positive, forget about the UAE and indeed any other GCC country.  You will never get a work visa.
If negative, go for follow up without worry.
@XTang
Please guide me . The person who had scar of the lungs got visa for only 1 year we talked to the agency but they don't have a proper answer. If anyone els had face the same issue here ? Please guide me what to do with this because paid almost 10000 for the 2 years visa. Is there anything we can do for this.
-@Mel Nick
Absolutely nothing. Keep going for follow up as advised by medical center. Be thankful that they gave you a conditional visa. Before the laws changed for old visa holders, you would have been deported.
@XTang thanks will update here if I get any response.
I did my visa medicals and got a text saying 'screening results are complete, please proceed to the General directorate of residency and foreign affairs' but two months after that, I'm yet to receive my emirate ID. What could be wrong?
Hi Everyone,
Trying to make things a bit clearer here as I got confused with the multitude of messages.
Regarding the text message received "Screening results are complete, please proceed to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs" - it means the results are OK and nothing is wrong. You can now proceed with the following steps for issuing the visa (whatever those are).
How do I know this? Simply call 800727336, give them your details and they will tell you exact the same things.
In case the test has BAD/UNFIT results, they will call you for a re-test or smth similar.
Hope is clear for everybody!
Cheers and good luck to all!
@XTang
hello i am also getting the same update is my health passed
little tensed please let me kno
I have answered this repeatedly. Just read above and don't repeat the question again and again just because you are anxious.
Here is a link to an answer that I gave just now, in more detail to what LucianA26 has already told you in post #85:
I done my medical test / and re take and they told me 10 days i received my result but till now almost 20 days , showing in DHA and also customer service is †prrocess to follow upâ€
then yesterday i went again to medical fitness center to check my status result .. they ask me to provide my visa and new visa and changes status .
i want to know is this the process of deporatation ?
  @XTang don't be sarcastic bro. Just don't replybif you don't want to be asks.     -@Jokoairis88
First of all, you didn't understand what I was saying - sarcasm is something different.  This wasn't sarcasm but instead, a straight to the point response.Â
Second, if you go through my posts, you will see that I have answered ALL of these questions hundreds of times. How would you feel if you were answering the same question over and over again.......just because people literally can't be bothered to scroll up and read it for themselves but want to be spoon fed. In this case, the poster of post #86 had to just scroll up and see post #85 by LucianA26 to see that his question was already answered.
Third, what makes it worse is the dozens of private messages asking the same questions along with demands (not requests) for my phone number.
@Mark765 same it happend o recieve messege . Your screening completed please proceed to gdrf. What it means that.

Hello everyone!
Can you help me about my situation? I have husband here and they gave him one year visa only because of health issues that they didn't disclosed. He's under my sponsorship. His employer wants him to apply for employment visa. Is there a chance of getting denied or unfit to work if they provide visa for him? He went for his 1st medical in Bur Dubai and after a week I recieved a text message from DHA that he needs to do his medical again in Al Muhaisna. He went there and after that we received his Med Cert saying "Fit-Follow up". If he do medical again is there a chance that he will received full 2years residency or not? I'm totally stress about this. Can you please enlighten me?
Thanks.
Look, this has been discussed hundreds of times on these forums. No issue on dependent / family visa. He will not get employment visa.
But what if he do another medical under wife visa and the result will be "Fit". He can finally go for employment visa for the next application?
It is not about the 2nd result. He has a scar in his lungs. As a dependent, it does not matter.........all they do is that they rule out active TB. Which is why they give for 1 year first and then 2 years after that. For a work visa, any old TB scar is an issue.
So meaning to say there is no possibility that if his employer wants to absorb him. He can't proceed for employment visa.
Some people have had success after being in the UAE for a while on dependent visa. When they apply for a work visa, they are treated as "old visa" vs. a new one (somehow, the time period as dependent ends up counting). However, the ones I know, who were successful were here on dependent visa for at least 3-4 years i.e. they had renewed dependent visa at least once.
Firstly, for blood test plsase don’t get panic like me. I was in the same condition. In nutshell, got a job here in Dubai, went for medical and then follow up for blood test in same Al munsiah…. they said me to be calm and composed as most of the time infact 99.9% of the time, these candidates remain fit. They get followup mostly because of inconclusive result due to n number of reasons including technical issue, technical issue, less quantity of sample etc. It takes 4 working days to get the result and I know at this time we start questioning ourselves unnecessarily. However, believe me its a normal process. There will be so many people with same issue at the centre. So Stop being stressed unless you have any pre medical history. If you were fit in your country, you will definitely be fit here. I got fit certificate as well. All the best & Take care.
@skkashyap0033 - you don't have to worry about anything if you don't abuse alcohol and drugs - you will be okay, so no worries!
This current status of your medical fitness test results for employment, residency and visa purposes is commonly known as your UAE Medical Fitness Certificate status. You can check your online application status by putting in your application or reference number on the official health authority websites for Dubai, for example the DHA (Dubai Health Authority) – other authorities in various Emirates are similar but you should check your emirates website, like MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention)or SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services). Your status will change to "Certificate Ready" once approved, representing that your certificate is issued, where you are fit medically for work/ residency in UAE.
That's a very common question for anyone going through the residency visa process in the UAE. It can be a little stressful waiting for that certificate, but fortunately, there are a few ways to check its status.
The best method is to use the official government website or app where you submitted your application. You can usually enter your application number or Emirates ID number to track the progress. Most people find that the process is fairly quick, and a simple online check can often give you the peace of mind you're looking for.
