Hello,

I am looking for an opportunity in GCC region preferably in Saudi, UAE, Qatar and Oman. I have been applying to a number of career sites like Bayt, Indeed.ae, naukri gulf etc from my current location i.e Michigan USA. The following is my profile:

B.E- Mechanical Engineering- Osmania University, India聽
M.s- Automotive Systems Engineering- University of Michigan Dearborn, US

Experience:

1 Yrs Quality control Engineer in Hyderabad
1 Yr Mechanical Engineering tutor at my university in US.
6 months Research assistant in Hyderabad under my professor for a project
2.1 Yrs Product development Engineer for General Motors In US.

I am facing a problem where my applications are hardly viewed ( say 5 in 100 applications),so I have a question. Does these websites work for international applicants.

If not does anyone knows any headhunters/recruiting firms in GCC which helps in Jobs.

Hi there, yes it does work but your degree is in Automotive (it usually takes longer time, and the market needs) so I think you could try to apply in these well-established companies in the UAE which is related or familiar to your degrees and qualifications:

And kindly note that GCC countries do not have the capability to run automobile industries as for now. My best wishes for you.
