Moving to dubai for 8 months

SamarMohammed1997

Hello everyone, hope everything is well.
I have this offer for 8 months. But i’m really hesitated to take it as everyone around me is telling me the salary provided is very low.
So i have this project for 8 months, Expo 2020.
So i’ll be provided with, tickets, pcr, food, accommodation, transportation, and overtime if needed plus 2000-2500 AED per month as salary
But everyone around me is telling me no its not worth it.
I just want to try something new, as i dont have so much experience with travelling.
I come from egypt.
Can you please spare me your thoughts? Thankyou

Definitely not worthy. My guess is you will be sharing accommodation and working 12 hours a day. Health insurance, probably only for emergencies.
There is no good life for that salary here.
If you finally decide to take the job, make sure the health insurance is not a basic one and the accommodation is not a shared one.
All the best

Hello,
the guy up there summed it already, adding to it the food provided will not be the high standard. Now, the minimum salary for a such roles could be 4000AED and above.

The outlined salary package feels like volunteering.
If Expo is your motivation, why not.
Did you move from Egypt to Dubai?
What experiences did you make?
