I want to live in Florida

bukovinskirobin

Hello to all !

I have many questions, sorry ahah, but first I explain you my project

My name is Robin, I'm 20 years old and in mid-September 2022 I want to go to Florida to live.
My idea was to take a 1 month and a half round trip ticket as a traveler, and then find any job there (waiter, bartender... whatever) so that the employer can give me the paper that I can come and work in the USA and get my VISA... Then I have other business projects but for now I want to focus on this

My questions:

- Is it a good idea to tell customs that I am coming as a traveler or should I say I am coming for business?
- With my young age, what is the best place to stay (private room, motel, hotel, youth hostels, airbnb...)?
- And simply, if you have any tips, things to tell me that I probably don't know, all things are good to take!

Thanks a lot :) !

Ne honest all the time, no point in lying because if you are found out there is a good chance of being deported and being banned from entering the country for 10 years or more.

You can read up on work visas

You CANNOT come to Florida on a visitors visa to live here this is an attempt at ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION - please do not come we have enough homegrown criminals we do not want more!

Four ways to get immigrant visa: 1 work permit (you apply outside). 2 you get married 3 you are a refugee (some of these refugee visas  don’t allow work). 4 you are an abused partner (you need usually to be already married to a US citizen).  You can also get a student visa upon being accepted in a lot university then get a working visa then after 5 years ask for immigrant visa.

I grew up in FL. Airbnbs are your best bet but South Florida, particularly Miami, will be expensive to live.
