Becoming a french teacher

Hello Community,

I am so happy to be able to ask my questions to people already living in Houston, who have had to adapt to a new life and so many challenges. I am moving to Houston at the end of June 2020 with my entire family and would like to become a french teacher (as French is my first language).
I would like to know what kind of courses or training I need to take in order to be able to achieve this goal. I already have a bachelor from my birth country (Ivory Coast) and would like to teach in primary or secondary school. Do I need to go back to college or is there any possibility to get a certificate somewhere which will allow me to work as a french teacher?
